I'm submitting this for discussion purposes only; This code has NOT been
tested, the intent is to see if I'm on the right track, or if anyone
cares about this feature except me. ;)
This allows a developer to write their own back-end classes for
XML_RPC2. This is the first step in porting my own XML-RPC code, which
offers several features including diagnostic trace and performance
measurement capabilities.
Example to use a backend in mylib/xmlrpc/debug/:
<code>
$options = array(
'backend' => array(
'type' => 'User',
'classname' => 'Debug_*',
'path' => 'mylib/xmlrpc/debug/*.php'
)
);
$server = XML_RPC2_Server::create('MyServer', $options);
</code>
This would use the class Debug_Server from mylib/xmlrpc/debug/Server.php
for the backend server component.
If this looks useful, I will test it and build some QA tests for it as well.
