I find your proposal really nice, it will give us (if Dietrich accepts) a very good basis for PEAR SOAP. Some friends and I plan to work on all SOAP stuff available for PHP before the week-end. We need a full featured implementation of SOAP for PHP for next week to show our clients that SOAP works well between Java, .NET and PHP (SOAP::Lite and others will be tested after that).
