Here are some tests to demostrate that:
# touch php.ini
# strace php -v 2>&1 | grep php.ini
open("./php.ini", O_RDONLY)
# rm php.ini
# strace php -v 2>&1 | grep php.ini
open("./php.ini", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or
directory)
open("/usr/local/lib/phpcvs/php.ini", O_RDONLY) = 3
It seems to be a extrange feature :?
