That's the directory in your php.ini include_path. It has nothint to do with the PEAR install. Edit your php.ini file and set the include_path to the directory where PEAR is installed. Thanks Justin - I did as you suggested and added: [xxxx@xxxx ~]$ grep -a include_path /etc/php.ini ; (directory must also be in include_path or full path must include_path = ".:/php/includes:/usr/share/pear" I still get the same error. I guess the big question I have is why its using System.php in the build directory (/var/tmp/vclk-php5-pear-root/usr/share/pear/System.php) and not the one in the install directory (/usr/share/pear/System.php).I'm not sure what you mean. PEAR doesn't set these paths, as I said before. PHP does. Perhaps you should look at the output of php -i or phpinfo() to see where the php.ini is as it seems your setting didn't work.
-- Justin PatrinWhat's strange is that running "rpm -qpl" on the created rpm shows that the directory path is correct "/usr/share/pear". Searching for "include_path" yeilds this result: [xxxxx@xxxx SPECS]$ grep include_path /usr/share/pear/pearcmd.php if ('/var/tmp/php5-pear-root/usr/share/pear' != '@'.'include_path'.'@') {-- Rey Paderna rpaderna@valueclick.com phone: 818 575 4738 mobile: 818 264 8348ini_set('include_path','/var/tmp/vclk-php5-pear-root/usr/share/pear'); I tried manually setting the directory path in pearcmd.php but I still get the same result. The system in question is running RHEL4. Thanks in advanced. -- PEAR Development Mailing List (http://pear.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
