Hi Gregory!
Thank you for the reply.
There are two ways around this. One is to nest <value> inside <column> <column> <name>A</name> <value>foo</value> </column>Maybe I wasn't clear enough. <column> and <value> are different things. The correct translation of the original example: <function> <name>myfunc</name> <column>A</column> <value>foo</value> <column>B</column> </function> is: myfunc(
A, 'foo', B)
that is, myfunc() has 3 arguments.
As for insert/update/insert, I would suggest solving it with this xml: <sql><insert/></sql> <sql><update/></sql> <sql><insert/></sql>we are trying to avoid the tag <sql> since the beginning of DML additions as we don't want any SQL in Schema files, due to portability reasons. Please take a look at MDB2 XML Documentation: http://cvs.php.net/viewvc.cgi/pear/MDB2_Schema/docs/xml_schema_documentation.html?revision=1.9 actually all insert/update/delete are nested inside only one <initialization>. so your suggestion would turn into: <initialization><insert/></initialization> <initialization><update/></initialization> <initialization><insert/></initialization> For a while I will try to find some other fix before start to change the XML Schema. Thank you again, Cheers, iGor.
