Just to let you know about my plans: Alexander and I will try to
write some PEAR articles in famous german IT publications (in the
upcoming PHP magazine [http://www.phpmag.de/] and perhaps in the
magazines from Heise Verlag [http://www.heise.de/]).
This will happen in the summer, when the whole PEAR stuff is stable
enough and well tested to be introduced to the whole PHP world.
IIRC Alexander also told me about someone who wants to publish a
PEAR book (as part of a series of PHP books), once that PHP 5 is
released.
Apart from that we should think about some PEAR banners or sth.
like this, that could be published on some open source portals
(sf.net, freshmeat etc.) once PEAR is ready to be released. Since
I'm not very good in Photoshop & friends, it would be nice if
some "pixel poet" would take this task.
The points I mentioned above one make sense in a medium/long term
of time. For the short term, we should concentrate on making PEAR
stable.
