Hi Vinai,
your workaround sounds tricky and i think it
would also solve my problems(if any occurs).
i dont know how importend is my opinion,
cause i'm new in the list but i think:
i love the pear-philosophy to create easy to use
reuseable standard classes that i could find at
one place in the www..
so im my opinion you should share your excperience
with manual lemos (see message before).
i would prefer a solution wich could handle different
kind of solutions. it means the user can choose between
flock()-, semaphore- or your workaround- style to
prevent data corruption .
