The reason I am on sourceforge is because it is the only place I found that is free and very
practical/safe/professional to put a package in development. It also provides SVN. That PEAR is
moving to SVN is great news. That will be even greater if PEAR can let developers put packages in
development and not yet released in the PEAR repository. If PEAR can offer the same level of service
regarding code source management than sourceforge, I don't see any reason not to move to PEAR.
What I need is pretty basic anyway.
I have a question:
Could PEAR leverage sourceforge for code source management and repository purposes instead of using
its own resources/infrastructure?

I just saw that the sources are kept in sf.net svn. Our test suite currently runs with pear cvs
only, but since we will have our own pear svn server in future, an svn:externals should be all
that's needed to get your package included in the tests.
Do you plan to move the sources to pear, or do you want to stay with sf.net?
