Quoting Michel Corne <mcorne@yahoo.com>: I have a question: Could PEAR leverage sourceforge for code source management and repository purposes instead of using its own resources/infrastructure? Thankfully, given that the new SVN server is already up and running, it's probably moot anyway.
Sure, it is pretty slow. Sometimes it takes hours until thing turn up. CVS on SF was worse. But there are also the better days. Recently I did not have so many problems committing etc.. SF is hosting a gazillion projects. ;-) Maybe PEAR can establish a "backup" SVN (just to make sure) using CVSDUDE or SF? I have no idea how complicated the setup is. But for example CVSUDE offers SVN as well and also supports opensource. Cheers, Till
