Hi,
can i rely on the fact ctype is available with current PHP versions?
i am not sure ... ctype is nothing you would expect to be required if using PHP for database stuff (like databse extension or something similar)
and i have seen some distros where ctype is not installed by default
the reason i ask is, the current userspace ctype function provided in SQL_Parser are not compatible with original ctype function - so it would require a rewrite.
or would it not be much better to have some package like PHP_Compat_Ctype?
