Hi,
there was never a list of "all packages" (which I would really like to
have*) but at least I could help myself by doing an empty search which
resulted in a result of all packages split onto 10 entries per page.
Now this doesn't seem to work anymore, an empty search string on
http://pear.php.net/search.php gives no package back ... :/
* I like the feature because I find it convenient to just browse through
everything which is available, the individual categories come close but
are (of course) limited again.
I'm also a big fan of "show all results in one page", having to click
zillions time on "next" just to see all packages I something I don't
consider very usable.
Something like http://pear.php.net/package-stats.php is very nice,
though I don't understand why it's a scrollable area inside the page and
~ not just uses the page itself for it ... but if that list could be made
alphabetically (not particular this one, as it would defeat the purpose
of the page) somewhere, that would be great.
Besides that (and before everything hates me because I'm only
criticizing :) the changes look refreshing and very good :)
cheers,
- - Markus
