Helgi Looks good on first glance but we don't require Role_Web anymore, perhaps it > accidentally slipped into the newest release, at least I removed it in CVS > already ;-) > Great, I didnt try CVS yet and the RC2 did ask me to run Role_Web first We're using the new www roles in PEAR 1.7.0 and the sql files are obsolete, > in fact the installer should be able to create the database for you if the > user you supply has the proper rights :-) > That would be great, I didn't try the CVS yet as I wanted to use the pear installer itself.. unless there is a way to install CVS version using the pear command? I sent david a patch file earlier which fixes 2 typo's in the xml definition file and also gets the users.sql file working again as the sample accounts don't currently install correctly. Once thats in the next release the install would run much smoother. I might have to put up a proper XML data for the database schema to replace > those ancient sql insert things but well all in all this looks great :-) > An XML data file would certainly help, maybe as a stop gap all the sample data could be moved to a single sql file to make the install easier? Or if you want if there is an example of inserting the data via xml I could use i'm happy to attempt that? if you like and if you have the proper karma there then you should be able > to put this under one of the sub pages on wiki.pear.php.net > I am happy to put this document up on the pear wiki as well, I don't have any karma as far as I know but if someone could let me know how to do it I will try and get it done before I go on a trip this weekend.
