Hi all.
I'm happy to see that the Net_Nmap package has been accepted :-).
In these days I worked on comments and suggestions received during the "call
for vote".
BTW, I've a couple of question about some points...
>- You cannot set delete_output_file via the options (Christian)
Please may you explain better? Actually, in the last release, the
delete_output_file is set internally.
> - Shouldn't you be using SimpleXML instead of XML_Parser? (Philippe)
To achieve the same results (Host object) using SimpleXML seems to require
more efforts/steps.
SimpleXML: parse xml file -> SimpleXML Object -> map the SimpleXML Object in
to the Host object
XML_Parser: parse xml file -> Host object
May you update my PEAR account :-)?
Below is reported the changelog.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Luca
- replaced is_null($foo) with $foo === null
- use get and set method for the status property
- renamed os() to getOS() in the Host class
- renamed allOS() to getAllOS() in the Host class
- use Exception instead of trigger_error in the Service class.
- using visibility in all code.
- Use System::which() to find the nmap binary instead of hardcoding the path
into the class.
- In the examples use count() instead of $object->count()
- Use tempnam() instead of md5() in Nmap::scan() to avoid conflicts
- In Parser.php a link to the nmap xml format docs was added.
- The parser and the other classes are unit-tested
- More Shell escaping in Nmap::_createCommandLine() (output file, target)
- In Nmap::parseXMLOutput() the original PEAR_Error is passed to the
exception
- The package works now on windows
