Hey Luca!
That is correct. If you want to manage your PEAR package via
Subversion (or any other VC), you have to currently host it for
example on Sourceforge or Google Code (and link to it (external
package homepage, etc.) from your package homepage
(http://pear.php.net/package/Net_Nmap -> edit).
