This is a quick status update and roadmap for SVN usage in PEAR.
The current plan is to only use subversion for PEAR2, there has also been talk of moving the website to subversion but no decisions has been made.
The decision has been made not to migrate the current PEAR svn to subversion.
Current setup
SVN url: http://svn.pear.php.net/PEAR2/
Web Frontend: http://svn.pear.php.net/
Tasks to complete
* SSL support
I believe the rest of php.net uses http://www.cacert.org/, if someone could get the cert setup I can install it on the server.
* Permission Management from Pearweb
See: http://svn.pear.php.net/PEAR2/REPO/admin/Authz.php
Helgi would have details on the status of this
* Single Signon with pearweb
Current svn auth uses mod_auth_mysql
The original plan was to use a web service running on the svn server and a client on pearweb for updating svn authz and passwords, passwords might have changed due to some php.net single signon stuff
After that my goal is too open up the PEAR2 sandbox for people who want to target new code at PEAR2 and PHP 5.3
Let me know if you can help out
