Lukas,
If you are ready for testing we got no such announcement, and will now do
so.
As much as I and the other binarycloud developers can support you in this
effort, we can and will. Metapear is EXTREMELY important to us, so please
keep the lines of communication open so we can monitor your progress and
test your code.
I do not subscribe to the PEAR list because I get far too much mail as it
is, so please, _please_ cc: dev@binarycloud.tigris.org.
I will place a copy of Metabase in CVS on monday, and put out a binarycloud
RFC that it be tested. I will then send you a detailed report of our
findings.
Please, don't give up on metapear - it is an important step forward.
Regardless of what PEAR people think (I don't know) the _binarycloud_ people
think what you're doing is important and worthwhile.
Please continue and we will offer what support we can.
best,
_alex
