Comment:
Some people use tmpfs for Cache_Lite by setting the cacheDir option to
/dev/shm/sitename/, or a custom mount point like so:
// Set a few options
$options = array(
'cacheDir' => '/www/site/ramcache/',
'lifeTime' => 3600
);
This way cached results live in RAM instead of disk, speeding up cache I/O
dramatically.
I would like to actually benchmark this method and compare it to your
proposal & the other options but I currently get 404 errors from the
lucamariano.it host.
