I know. Before the usual way was to export csv data and
then import it to Excel. Importing just is sometimes too
techie stuff for marketing people ;)

Not yet. However it can be done.

Not yet. However it can be done. I have the BIFF specs and the
sourcecode for CPAN's Spreadsheet::WriteExcel which makes the
job easier.
