Okay, I've taken a look at the PEAR::Log package and now I understand
how this proposal fits in. Originally, I thought this was to be an
independent sub-package.
You can consider my vote non-conditional now :)

I see FirePHPCore has a pear channel at pear.firephp.org. Perhaps
PEAR::Log could list the FirePHPCore package as an optional dependency
when this proposal is accepted.
