What is the simplest way to create a patch of php file using diff command? For example, I want to create a patch for a file in /usr/local/php/lib/php/Net/GeoIP.php I made a new version of file, put it in the same directory /usr/local/php/lib/php/Net/GeoIP2.php What is the correct command to make a patch that will work? Thank you.
