Hi all,
My proposal is finally online [1].
Draft is over with all features.
You may find also a link to download and install the release 0.3.0a2
I hope to have explained as well as possible all features of this new version (rewrite since 0.2.0).
So if you didn't yet have a look on it, you should not have any surprise. For others, I think to Till, Daniel, Michael, hope you will enjoy changes.
I CC this mail to Sebastian.
Perharps you could be interrested in concept. I think especially on PEAR_TestListener_Configuration that is a wrapper to PHPUnit_Util_Configuration. I've used phpunit.xml configuration file to store all PEAR::Log handlers parameters.
As I don't now status of PEPr system: is it repaired or not ? Here is the reason of this post.
I know there are again, some work to do :
- run PHPCS to clean-up code
- write a test suite for QA
- any other else, I probably forgot
Summary of Appendix B. Examples
After applied change (only 2 lines) in your own test suite, have a look on :
B1. for basic usage (no XML config file used or PHP code added)
B2. for a complex usage, that show how to write your own logger target (still without XML configuration file)
B3. for a complex usage, that show how to write your own logger target
(still without XML configuration file), and your listener to be notified of additionnal event
B4. for basic usage without additionnal PHP code, but with a simple XML configuration file
B5. for advanced usage with a complex XML configuration file
Feel free to post comment here or send me a mail
Laurent
