Hi Laurent,
As promised in this same mailing list 2 days ago, here are my new proposal PHP_Reflector.
I did not look very close at the source code yet, but two questions: - Is your api compatible with the PHP5 reflection API? e.g. uses the same method names? - Why did you choose PHP4, the long dead cow? Hello Christian,
I've tried to explains it in the introduction page [1]. Perharps it's not enough clear. To try to answer to your questions : 1. YES I used the same name but these methods are available on the analysis process only. Not really to get final results. 2. Why PHP4 ? Behind the challenge for me to do it, I won't let down in a first time, PCI users. In the second time I want to go sweetly to an PCI 2.0.0 version (full PHP5) and apply all features still needed : - replace backend reference: monolithic XML file translate in $GLOBALS array should be replace by a SQLite database (easier to manage) - more flexibility on detection: * actually PCI 1.9 can't detect GLOBALS while PCI 1.10 will do * allow to provide a list by version of component used (class, function, ...) - But the most important for me (explained in introduction page) the security problem (using trust code) on PHP5 Reflection API itself. Remember PCI 1.10 should be the LAST PHP4 version Backward Compatible Hope, I'll answered to all your questions Laurent [1] http://www.laurent-laville.org/pear/pepr/PHP_Reflector/#toc1
