Hello Christian,
I'm interested in packaging XML_RPC for Ubuntu (and get it into Debian
too). I just had a look at the tarball and made a few observations:
- tests/empty-value-struct.php and package2.xml refer to
http://de2.php.net/license/3_0.txt which was not
approved by the
Debian legal team
http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2005/08/msg00128.html
was the
best link I could find to any discussion.
- there's no LICENSE files (some files are BSD licensed, some PHP 3.01,
some PHP 3.0) in the tarball.
Would it be possible to relicense tests/empty-value-struct.php and add
the necessary license texts to a tarball and do a new release?
That'd help us a lot and make it possible for the package to enter
Ubuntu and Debian (and help to get CiviCRM in as well :-)).
Thanks a lot in advance and have a great day,
Daniel
