PEAR2 Standards Update

Greetings everyone - Just an update on PEAR's progress adopting the "PHP Standards and Best Practices for PHP 5.3+ Frameworks and Libraries." :-) At the last PEAR Group meeting the exception policy and the class naming policy were approved by the PEAR Group and are now incorporated into the PEAR2 standards. http://wiki.php.net/pear/rfc/pear2_standards We're still evaluating the namespace usage and I'll send an update once we've finalized that portion of the PEAR2 standards. My thanks to the standards group, and the PEAR Group for their work on establishing these standards and incorporating them into the project. -- Brett Bieber
