I think that before listing modules, the pear installer should support
this modules (for example package.xml doesn't support yet modules like
PHPDoc). I sent time ago a patch for this to Stig, but it is still on
the air.
In the other hand, it could be very cool to have somewhere in the web a
daily/weekly list of changes/additions in pear.
