Hi,
to install pear on i.e. Linux:
wget http://pear.php.net/go-pear.phar
php go-pear.phar
http://pear.php.net/manual/en/installation.getting.php
and after the pear installation,
phpunit installation is easy as adding a server and pear install:
http://www.phpunit.de/manual/3.6/en/installation.html
