Are you sure that we want this? I have nothing against allowing Shane to put up a SOAP demo on pair1 in particular, but I'm afraid that other people will also claim to get demo space in the future - I'm actually not sure if this is a wise thing to do.
In these early stages of SOAP, interop testing is extremely important, that is at least if you want to use PEAR SOAP against MS SOAP, or anyone elses SOAP.
this isn't a demo space. this is a suite of tools used to do interoperability testing. having it publically available makes it easier for other people developing soap implementations to verify that their implementation works with ours. (but i would suggest setting this up on its own soap-interop.php.net domain or something, so we can put it on whatever machine we want, independent of where pear.php.net is located.)
I don't mind a different domain either. We could use soap.pear.php.net also. In fact with that, I could even run it off my own server if that will help with system usage. But I ultimately think it's best to have it on a PHP box. Shane
