Hello,
I re-writing my user management using Auth (and Auth is way cool ;) )
fetchdat() place the data in a $_SESSION variable, using Auth::setAuth()
Byt the way is something have to be modified in fetchData() is:
the addition of $entry in
Auth::setAuth($entry[$this->options['usernamecol']], $entry);

I'm a bit confused what should the fetchData() in Auth_Container classes do. PHPDoc for Auth_Container_DB::fetchData says:"This function returns a associative hash that contains the values for all fields in the table"fetchdata() name also implies that it should return data. However what fetchData() actually seems to return is TRUE or FALSE depending if the username / password combination was correct. This also seems to be case with File and LDAP containers.I think there should be a way to retrieve additional data (such as additional fields from database, or CVS username from passwd file) from the container object. Changing the behaviour of fetchData() would break quite a lot things though.--Mika Tuupola http://www.appelsiini.net/~tuupola/-- PEAR Development Mailing List (http://pear.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
