it looks ok. you still create the xml-file. is that intended? i wrote this
xml-file, so i can use that for my webbased-pear-installer i spoke before.
Or are there any other methods to get all the necessary (name, version,
etc...) information about all pear-packages? Something like the
Packages.gz in debian.
