Dependancies in xmlrpc database

I just did the downloading part of the installer, it's barfing due failed dependancies - unfortunatly at present the only time it appears to be able to work out the dependencies is after the package has downloaded.. Is it possible to include the dependancy information in the remote-list data? - is it in the database? This way the interface could 'prompt' 'this package depends on 'xxx', I will install that as well (tick here to stop these messages appearing again..) regards alan
