It does. The reason that the require_once statements are there is that a member of this list wanted to be able to include the driver class directly in a PHP-GTK application, rather than the parent class. That is how they ended up there :-) I don't know if it's a good idea or not, or even necessary now (the design has changed a lot since then) but as I didn't add them I'm loathe to remove them...
