Hi all,
I'm mantainier and developer of a group of classes for
XML processing using PHP at
http://phpxmlclasses.sourceforge.net
I've been thinking that it may be interesting to
contribute this classes to PEAR. Before that I'd need
to migrate the code to follow PEAR coding standards
and format the documentation using the DocBook format.
So I wanted to know if you find some of this classes
interesting so I don't waste time migrating a class
that won't be accepted.
The classes are:
- Xindice: A class implementing the XML-RPC interface
of Xindice, it uses Usefulinc's XML-RPC
implementation.
- Schematron: An implementation of the Schematron
validation language for PHP using the XSLT extension.
This class lets you validate XML files/uris/strings
using Schematron scripts and it also allows compiling
Schematron scripts as XSLT stylesheets for later use.
- Rdf_parser: A port to PHP of Repat an RDF parser by
Jason Diammond, the class allows parsing all kinds of
RDF documents admiting all the syntactic variants
defined by the W3C. It uses and event-drive interface
generating events that can be intercepted as RDF
statements are found.
- Xquery Lite: An implementation in PHP of the Xquery
Lite 1.0 language, a subset of the Xquery language by
the W3C.
There's also an XSLT wrapper and a package
implementing SAX filters but I guess this is already
done or planned for PEAR.
There're other classes in the production queue but
let's start with these.
Let me know if you find some of the classes suitable
for PEAR and I'll start migrating them.
Regards,
Luis
