Hi all,
I'm used to make requests to different MySQL databases in one script
by specifying the database names in the SQL requests, like the
following :
SELECT field1 FROM database1.table1 WHERE ...
SELECT field2 FROM database2.table2 WHERE ...
With previous versions of PEAR DB, we can do that after connecting
with a dsn without any database specified, like the following :
$dsn = "mysql://user:pass@server";
This is no longer possible because of the mysql_select_db call, which
should IMHO be avoided if $dsn_info['database'] is empty.
What do you think?
