There are multiple problems with the tests dir destination, plus the fact that you need the "run-tests.php" file extracted from the sources of your php distribution. I'm talking about PHP tests, for the other type of tests that probably doesn't apply. For example the PEAR DB tests can be launched by "pear download DB; tar xvfz DB-*tgz; pear run-tests DB/tests". I suspect that the MDB tests are already in php format, so just installing the package, going to the tests dir and executing them would work. Tomas V.V.Cox
