Hi!
As this is my first post to this newsgroup but I´m willing to contribute
often in the future, I hope that my english is not too bad this time ;-)
Short introduction:
My name is Sebastian Röbke and I work for a german multimedia agency
(http://www.conasol.de). I´m very interested in the development of PEAR in
general and use lots of classes from it in commercial and non-commercial
projects.
I noticed that creating the table for a sequence ( implemented in nextID() )
using the odbc driver uses bigint as column type.
When connecting to an Access 2000 database using PEAR::DB Version 1.2 it
seems to have problems with this type ...
Using int instead works fine.
Here´s the change I made to DB/odbc.php on my workstation:
400c400
< '(id int NOT NULL,'.
---
> '(id bigint NOT NULL,'.
Please let me know if this is a general issue or Access specific.
Thanks a lot for this great library!
Sebastian Röbke
