win32: lynx installtion does not promt for user input

dear all
i typed "c:\>lynx -source http://pear.php.net/go-pear | php -q" and the
installer directly started downloading and installing packages to c:\php4,
which is not my current php installation directory.
according to the text given by the script, it seems, that i could configure
the installation directory before the packages get downloaded.
is there a bug?
