This looks like a very nice script. I am definately looking forward to
using it my packages. However, I do have two issues with it. First,
IMHO the dependencies should be php(foo) not pear(foo). This follows
the perl model, where you depend on perl(foo) rather than cpan(foo).
Second, it generates bogus dependencies on php(parent). The parent::foo
construct is a language feature, implemented by the Zend Engine. there
can never be a class named parent, nor will any package provide a class
named parent.
Additionally, looking at your spec files, I would suggest that the main
php package provide php(stdClass), as this is actually provided by the
Zend Engine. php(stdClass) is coded into the engine, as opposed to
being written in PHP.
Please realizes this is just me nitpicking. The scripts look great, and
should make it much easier for vendors to ship pear modules.
Thanks.
