ID: 18687 Updated by: ludoo@php.net Reported By: rotherme@andrews.edu -Status: Open +Status: Closed Bug Type: PEAR related Operating System: Windows 2000 PHP Version: 4.2.2 New Comment: This bug has been fixed in CVS. You can grab a snapshot of the CVS version at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up soon at http://www.php.net/manual/. In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP better. changed line 82 as suggested, hopes Tomas agrees with the patch =) Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-08-05 09:03:00] rotherme@andrews.edu I just verified the code at work and that is exactly what I have. ibase://user:pass@host/c:\foo\bar.db is what I'm using, and it doesn't work with that "extra" forward slash. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-08-02 08:08:37] cox@php.net If you are using the last PEAR DB release (http://pear.php.net/package-info.php?pacid=46), use: ibase://user:pass@host/c:\foo\bar.db Tomas V.V.Cox ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-08-01 11:16:29] rotherme@andrews.edu Windows uses back slashes, so line 82 breaks it: ($dsninfo['hostspec'] . ':/' . $dsninfo['database']) : That would be something like: $dsninfo['hostspec'] . ':/c:\db\db.gdb' Which doesn't work. If line 82 is changed to ($dsninfo['hostspec'] . ':' . $dsninfo['database']) : (no slash), then it does work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=18687&edit=1
