I could be wrong, but I'm guessing the new package is broken at the moment.. - eg. it's not assigning lead correctly.. (from mine, and quite a few others messages like this..) If anybody has got the time to have a look at fixing it.., pearweb is not that difficult to set up (cvs co pearweb, then look for the readme to set up the database).. regards alan Ludovico Magnocavallo wrote:
I tried to create/upload DB_ldap on the pear web site, but I failed miserably. If anybody can give me a hint, here are the steps I performed: 1) browsed through cvs to discover the url of the "new package" page =) 2) inserted package info and submitted the form 3) got an error message, saying I did not have permission to create this package (uhm, I was logged in, and I am the maintaner) 4) scratched my head a bit, checked the package.xml file, and yes my email address was the old one, so 5) modified package.xml and committed it to cvs 6) tried to create the package again, only to discover that "the package already exists", doh 7) ok, thinking everything is more or less what it should be, I try to upload a release for the package (btw, what is the url to upload a release?), only to find that the package has been created with no maintainer, and I have no permission to do anything on it Uhm, mysteries of the pear web site.......maybe I should have followed pear.dev more closely these last few months..... Thanks for any help Ludo
