I've been driving in circles for the past 6 days, (Phoenix-Michigan 33 hours straight, 2 days in Michigan, Michigan-Phoenix 2 16 hours days) so i wasn't able to reply before now. As i said before im more then willing to merge into PEAR if there aren't any issues with moving to our codebase. If someone knows who the new mainter for phpdoc in pear is i'll get in connect with them and we can work out the details. -joshua eichorn project admin phpDocumentor Martin Jansen wrote:

I think it's not so easy to merge them from a day to another, so by making this we could start to use PHPDoc2 as a "standard" and silently merging them inside it. PHPDoc could be replaced by PHPDoc2 at the moment we get a full merge and PHPDoc will have no more maintrance or support. What do you think? =)
I don't have any strong opinion about the details of PHPDoc's future, as long as there will a stable, fast and comfortable solution ;-). Honestly: The details should really be up to Joshua and the people working on PHPDoc.
