Not sure where that came from, I don't remember writing that.http://cvs.php.net/co.php/peardoc/en/pecl/apd.xml and http://cvs.php.net/co.php/pear/PECL/apd/README?r=1.11 say: "Make sure you have installed the CGI version of PHP ..."Then I read that I need the CGI version, so maybe these crashes where expected behavior. You don't need the cgi version (where did you read that?). This is not expected behavior. Are you using the last rolled version from the apd site, current cvs or the execute_wrapper branch? I'm going to assume it's one of the two former ones, as I could duplicate you error there. It's been fixed in cvs (just now).
I am using current CVS.That should be good now (if the previous mail wasn't clear, I found and fixed the specific bug you reported).
If you want tracing/profiling, the pprof should do what you want better than the session_trace stuff. There are some issues with the class <-> method identification in the current HEAD. If what you're interested in is the pprof tracing (which imho is more than a full replacement for the session_trace stuff), try doing a cvs update -r execute_wrapper in the apd dir.Ok. I will do this ... But I really don't know what I am interested in ;) I just thought "APD looks cool, so lets see what it offers ..."
Not sure, I just remember seeing in pass by on php-dev. If it's not there, I will make sure it get's re-fixed in the execute_wrapper branch. That enables a profiling methodology which is hoped to be both faster and more accurate. apd_callstack doesn't work there, but if you're using head, then I think that Thies' backtrace function has been integrated into ZE anyway.how is it named? (the new backtrace function) I read I need ext/xdebug or ZE2, or am I wrong?
