adodb or DB_ado for vfp (i.e. foxpro) access linux->windows

Hello all, I'd like to connect to a vfp database lying on a win2k machine via php running on a linux machine (Apache 1.3.23, php 4.2.2). I'm wondering whether that is possible at all. Following thoughts I had so far on how to go about it: Accessing the windows machine via the vfp driver or openlinks odbc. But I'm not sure how to do that. Are there other possibilities? Can I access the windows machine with the adodb or the new DB_ado? Or should I do something completely different? Any help is greatly appreciated.
