Actually qmail is the perpaps most popular MTA (even though exim rules
even more ;)) and so I think we should really take care that our code
works with it.

If the bug will not be fixed (for whatever reason) we should atleast
document clearly that one has to use 'smtp' instead of 'mail' when
using qmail under the circumstances described above.
