Hi,
I want to get PEAR Webinstaller working before 4.3.0 is released
and have a question:
Webinstallers goal is to be a package which installs PEAR on every
web environment (mass hosting for example) out-of-the-box.
You just extract the files from the package and you are ready to
launch the package manager.
PEAR_Frontend_Web is my package, but to be an out-of-the-box
tool, I need to bundle the required depending packages.
Auto resolving deps is not possible, since there is no running PEAR,
you have the chicken-egg-problem ...
So I would like to see an easy way to bundle packages and release
this bundle.
Thoughts?
