^^^^ What's definitive for you might not be definitive for others.
I tested this mod and found it to work better than the old implementation
but you might want to make some benchmarks to see for yourself. I just
suggest you don't block the whole process by giving deadlines you can't
meet. Alexey posted this mod 2 weeks ago and he hardly get any answers,
that's a bit long even if it takes time to test the code thoroughly.
