Bug description: manual.tar.* are all corrupted
Description:
------------
every .tar.* (.tar.gz, .tar.gz2) of the manual is corrupted, probably
because .tar does not do well at all with long filenames. Several of them
are cut off in spreadsheet-excel-writer
Unless this can be successfully fixed, I would suggest adding a note at
the website, as the .zip download is fine.
