Hi Jesus,
I see the advantage of a split so that you don't have to checkout all
translations when you simply want to check out the main English ones
or even just the doc-system itself.
But I don't see any proof that we need karma-separation of any sort.
There aren't so many people working on the docs yet, and I don't
expect this number to increase drastically in the short term. None
afaik has yet complained about changes to "his" files which were un-
justified. And I see a big advantage in the possibility to simply fix
problems with entities, indention or line-endings as they occur. Imho
we shouldn't over-complicate things.
Even for the PEAR-packages we haven't yet needed real karma-
separation - and it usually works fine. For docs I think we don't
need to be that strict as with packages, since there usually are no
"long term plans" or such and imho some easy corrections should be
done when the problems are discovered.
