Yes, works like a charm. It seems you do not have lynx installed. Try to get go-pear with wget or OSX equivalent, or move it using ftp to your home folder. Then php -q go-pear.php.

I've already tried the web installer, but although it appears to install ok and I get no include errors for the pear libs from my site (for DB.php, Mail.php etc) I can't seem to access any methods (though it is namely the 'query') so my code always breaks. here's the error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: query() in /hsphere/local/home/jonbenne/_lib/_classes/class.news.php on line 243 that is a pear method isn't it ??? Any ideas ??
