Hi,
It would be really useful if a new feature could be added to both pecl
and pear, which allows users to register for email updates for a
specific module (and optionally any dependencies).
e.g. if a user was interested in only PEAR::DB, PEAR::SOAP and
PECL::SQlite, then they could register for updates in these packages and
would only get emails when these packages are updated. That way they
wouldn't have to wade through releases from all software on a mailing
list, or wouldn't need to remember to check newsgroups or rss feeds.
