Thanks for your tips! I read the release notes and found this:

WARNING: in order to use the web interface through PEAR, you must set
your data_dir to a subdirectory of your document root.
$ pear config-set data_dir /path/to/public_html/pear

Ok so far. But in my current data-directory /usr/share/php/data I have
some other directories not belonging to phpDocumentor (like
HTML_TreeMenu, LiveUser, PEAR and Validate) . Is there no problem if I
change the data_dir with "pear config-set" with other istalled packages?
